ART021 Art Fair
with Red Gate Gallery
Shanghai is a perplexing place of cultural varieties and riches of industrial and technical possibilities; it also portrays all of those and more features in the visual language of art. As the big wheels are turning and one art fair ends, another swiftly slips right into its place making the rounds and filling Shanghai’s artistic calendar. Between November 28 and December 1 2013, island6, always at its best, was delighted to be a part of ART021
Dedicating its efforts to expansion and bringing forth new challenges in contemporary arts, Art 021 encourages and invests in growing potential of Chinese and international art. So naturally, during the 4 day Art Fair held at Rockbund Art Museum, island6 marked its presence, courtesy of Beijing Red Gate Gallery, who have been a kind host to Liu Dao’s vivacious creativity. Together with porcelain costumes by Li Xiaofeng, resin sculpture by Li Jinguo, contemporary print making by Su Xinping, island 6 was excited to present what’s best in both new and old. The traditional and modern once again met in the humorous process of our creative force, lighting up your face with positive energy and presenting you with a unique, contemporary notion of art.
