Camille Jaganathen

One Saturday night, Camille Jaganathen wandered past the gallery on a light-and-warm-place-seeking mission. She encountered Thomas and Serena slaving in the glass office, and after a long discussion, island6 found itself a new and enthusiastic intern.

Camille was born in Strasbourg, France, but she is a mix of many cultures since her father is a Mauritian of Indian descent while her mother is French with German and Polish roots.

Camille is studying International Business and Management at SKEMA business school on the Suzhou campus, which amazingly didn’t deter her from making the hour-long trek back to the island every following weekend as a proud volunteer.

When on flyer duty aka PR, this born-PR-star surprised everyone by bringing around one hundred visitors in less than 15 minutes.

In January 2012 Camille started to spend more time in island6, completing her internship here. She contributed to Public Relations, research and writing for the collective. We were sad to see her leave to further her studies in March.

Camille was a proud volunteer at island6.
