BLURB

When you see a blue sky it’s tempting to think there’s a simple answer as to why it’s blue, but there’s not really. Even the question of whether or not the sky is actually blue is not set in stone. When light from the sun hits our atmosphere, it really does hit it. It suddenly encounters stuff (clouds, air etc). Not all of the light goes through this stuff the same way. Some gets stuck. Blue gets stuck a lot so it looks like it’s all over the place. Red and yellow, for example, don’t easily get stuck on stuff. While we’re at it, there isn’t even really a sky, it’s all just air with light stuck on the molecules.  One thing is well known though, and that is this: if you happen to see a blue bear in the wild, run for your life and don’t dare look back.
