There is a thin line between life and death, if one is to argue that being alive is ‘life’, then what may one call ‘death’? There is a thin line between good and bad, but who are we to say if you are right or wrong?
‘Time' is the only proof we have for all things, and memory is the only thing we have left when our time is up. Where is the beginning and where is the end?
A vase hides secrets of a household; it stands silently year after year, gazing pensively, as if ‘life' has no limit. Or perhaps, it’s waiting for death to bring flowers to it. Imaginably, its only existence is to witness life. Presumably, without it, we forget our memories or to tell our grandchildren the same story our grandparents once told us. The air, the smell, the tears and the laughter all merrily left hieroglyphic winkles on the vase without its permission. And yet, it stood silently. Waiting. [Redelle Lee]
