Scope New York Art Fair 2011
island6 was represented at SCOPE Art Show in New York by Tally Beck Contemporary from 2nd to 6th, March 2011.
SCOPE Art Show took place during “Armory Week” in Manhattan, when a burst of high-end contemporary art is annually on display in ten art shows running concurrently with the prestigious Armory Show, one of the largest art fairs in the world since 1993. SCOPE Art Show is considered one of the most intriguing satellite shows along with Pulse, Volta, and Bridge, with free shuttle services to Armory and other neighboring fairs.
"Plugged In", the island6 show curated by Tally Beck in the Lower East Side gallery in Manhattan, was extended until March 20th in order to coincide with SCOPE and remain visible through the winter season.
In addition to the 14 multimedia artworks enchanting visitors at Tally Beck Contemporary on Rivington Street, ten other island6 productions expressed the pioneering spirit of Shanghai’s collaborative contemporary artists with beguiling animations and electric visions at Scope Art Show (booth C72), found at 355 West 36th Street, New York, NY, 10018. |
