"My Blue Wall" (我的蓝墙)
"My Blue Wall" by island6 Art Collective (Liu Dao)
// BLURB //
"Here we are. This is what I wanted to show you," I pointed at the water. "But I can't see any walls here," she said. "What can you see then?" I asked her. "Just look into the distance." "The waves? The fish? It's just water," she didn't seem to understand. "Can't you see anything else?" I asked. "Well, I can't see anything more than that." "I see Greek gods, Roman galleys, crusaders and Venetian merchants, all striving to get across. Can you see the sand? This is where our world ends. Look at the water," I said. "Is it the wall?" she asked, "then it is the greatest wall, greater than the Great Wall of China, visible from space, but invisible from Earth." We laughed and climbed up to the top of the rocks to see the surrounding terrain meeting the infinite blueness and were trying to imagine what's on the other side.
