Birds born in a cage think flying is abnormal just like people who have never been in an open rooftop limousine think feeling the air through your hair speeding past onlookers is abnormal. But it’s more than that... it’s a freeing feeling, it may just be the closest thing to flying. In Alejandro Jodorowsky’s film “The Dance of Reality” (2013) he shares his view that truth doesn’t exist the way we think it does, it’s not objective but rather it’s a dance created by our imaginations! Therefore I ask why we’re not cheering and dancing all the way through life? Well, there’s two schools of thought trying to figure out what “reality” is, classical physics which we use to explain our current world, and quantum physics which follow laws we are not able to fully understand. One example is the Ensemble Theory, which argues that there’s an infinite number of possibilities and outcomes, but we only experience one. The Many Worlds Theory as the name suggests, argues there’s infinite universes out there where all outcomes are real. You are alive, dead, tall, short, sober, and drunk in multiple universes and possibly at the same time. But don’t get me started on the concept of “time” right now! Better fill up that drink and enjoy the ride, ganbei!
