No one is there to answer my calls of woe. I guess this is it. There’s no remedy for my ailment! Like William De Kooning’s “Attic”, static echoes emerge from these four walls, caving in on me. I tried to follow Chinese philosopher Mozi’s (墨子) concept of universal love (兼爱) but failed. Can you even blame me? It’s nearly impossible to cherish everyone equally when YOU exist.
