"My Tokusatsu Dream" (我的特效梦)
"My Tokusatsu Dream" by island6
// BLURB //
Tokusatsu. It’s a genre in the Japanese movie industry that mixes science fiction, horror and fantasy, intensely using special effects, often featuring monsters. It’s also the main theme in my life and career. I’m at home, I’m human. I go out, and they start calling me “anthropomorphic”. “Gigantic”, which could be a compliment, but in this context, it’s the equivalent of being utterly ugly. But I developed a way to deal with people. Yes, I want to be a pop culture icon, and I’ll do whatever it takes to realize that dream. I will destroy anybody that gets in my way. People say just go after your dream, so I go after people that chase their dreams. If I’m good at anything, I would say I’m good at this one thing: eliminating competition. But please do realize this seemingly rude behavior has its advantages. Once everybody else is gone, I’ll be here to protect you. I have a complex personality and will be an amazing asset to your company. And you will love me. I’m sure you will love me.
