Aldous Huxley posed that love was the resistance of culture, society, laws, and norms against human lust and acting freely upon emotions. It was the balancing of these two sides that provided his idea of love at the time of writing. He also pointed out that at any given time in human history, these conditions would differ somewhat, however, the core values have remained the same. This is evidenced in that we can feel the significance and rough meaning of ancient literature and art. Little by little, we each chisel our mark. Each person making a tiny microscopic change to the grand sculpture that is human history. What does today’s society say about her? Is she too freely exposed? She must be censored, but only a little. We crave to look and see, so don’t censor the whole thing. I’m not sure how I feel about this. If no one were around…
