"Wall Of Fame" (名人围墙)
// BLURB //
Because of the massive overpopulation of stray cats in the city of Shanghai, the Health Bureau of Huangpu District had installed news boards regarding health education throughout the district. Only the bravest workers dared to sneak out and post the latest announcements, while everybody else tried to stay home. After the cats had denuded the city, they moved south. About twenty years have passed since the last cat left the city, but the health education boards remain. After we spent years in our homes we did not know how to make friends anymore. Everyone was stranger to each other and tried to somehow be more than just that. We covered our faces with paint and stepped into meticulously selected looted clothes. And we wanted fame. We desired to be the best and rule the city. Our smiling images took over those empty educational boards. The streets were covered with the posters of our magnified flashing teeth and colorful wigs. For, of course, not more than fifteen sweet warholian minutes each.
