"Talk So Sweet" (话太甜)
"Talk So Sweet" by island6 Art Collective (Liu Dao)
// BLURB //
The best conversations are those that take the path of the bee. Once begun, they don’t follow any one script. They weave in and out of concepts and ideas and stories, through the grass and around the occasional obstacle in search of the sweet pollen that is genuine connection. Some of the greatest conversationalists in the history of humankind also happen to be some of the most influential. Those like Confucius, Socrates, and Oprah (just to name a few) have forever altered the way in which we perceive our world by altering how we interact with one another within its limits. Is there such a difference between a bee and a gadfly? Or a gadfly and a butterfly? It depends on who you ask. If you ask me, when the stakes are as high as human flourishing, whatever the winged beast, make them your friend and emulate them when you can. Or not. Such is the path of the bee, always veering and never settling for long. Perhaps this is the mark of a great conversationalist—never being satisfied with the end of a conversation, always needing to prolong the end.
